SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a vibrant educational setting? Now Education are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join various mainstream Primary schools in Dewsbury and Batley to start in January._

SEN TA Job Description:

Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a mainstream Primary school setting, including Autism (ASC) ADHD, Global Development Delay and Complex Needs.
Working collaboratively with teachers to create inclusive and engaging learning environments.
Providing onetoone assistance to students with SEN, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
Collaborating with SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators) to develop tailored support plans.

SEN TA Requirements:

Experience working with children with SEN, preferably within a school setting.
A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach towards supporting children with diverse learning needs.
Relevant qualifications or training in SEN (desirable but not essential).
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
