LARA Search is a specialist recruitment firm for the Education sector across London, Home Counties & United Emirates.

We are currently seeking a Finance Officer/ Assistant to join our growing London Soho Team
. This is a new and exciting opportunity for an individual looking to build on their experience and career with previous finance experience.

Responsibilities will include:


  • Support with the weekly and monthly cycles.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts ad details variance analysis.
  • Weekly cashflow forecasting
  • Debtor chasing
  • Staff expenses check
  • Payroll
  • Accounts receivable
- check, finalise and send out all sales invoices.


Apprenticeship details:

-
You will be working towards your Level 2 Finance Assistant Qualification across 17 months. (All training is delivered online/ remote, no classroom learning).**:

  • Training Provider: LMP Education, rated 3rd best apprentice training provider across the UK
  • Wage £5.28 per hour (National Apprentice Wage) Will increase after 12 months.
  • Mon
  • Fri 9am 5pm full time.
Work Place: 18 Soho Square, London W1D 3QN (Please ensure you can commute to this location everyday).


Experience Required:


  • Previous experience as Finance Assistant, Officer or similar role
  • Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
  • Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors.
  • Flexible
  • Highly Organised with the ability to prioritise their own workload.
  • Strong IT Skills, particularly Excel and Word
