Full Time, 23 Month Fixed Term Contract

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Surgery Division at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust (TRFT) as a Cancer Pathway Navigator.

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, confident and dynamic individual who will be a central point of contact for patients on a rapid diagnostic, suspicious of cancer pathway; helping to ensure the individual needs of the patient are supported, whilst facilitating a seamless, coordinated pathway delivery, such as through escalation of requirements to relevant departments, supporting a better, more personalised diagnostic experience for patients.

The post holder will identify and resolve barriers to care, working flexibly and responsively to unlock bottlenecks and delays.

You will therefore be required to work autonomously and have strong organisation, communication and negotiation skills, as well as commitment and compassion for patients and their quality of care and experience.
