Due to the increase in our student numbers, we are seeking to appoint senior teaching assistants to work with the young people in our care at Stocklake Park School.

Working as part of a team you will provide support for the class teacher and assist with the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources.

Bucks pay range 3, Point 16-20 £20,616-£22,300 (approx. gross) per annum (FTE £24,310 - £26,295 per annum)

About us:


Part of the Vale Federation of Schools, Stocklake Park Secondary School is a special school which caters for students who have moderate to severe learning difficulties.

There are currently 108 students at the main site.

The school follows a primary model and is designed to meet individual educational needs and develop social and personal skills.


All students have access to swimming at our primary site, a rebound centre and purpose built outdoor spaces including a MUGA (multi use games area) and playground equipment.

We are close to bus and train links and on-site parking is available for staff.


About the role:


You will be required to lead whole classes during the teacher's non-contact time and also during the short-term absence of the teacher.

Comprehensive training is provided as appropriate to the role and continued professional development of our staff is encouraged.


About you:


A good working knowledge of ICT to be able to effectively support learning and a commitment to training is expected.

Resilience, common sense and a commitment to working as part of a team are also key attributes.
