Due to continued expansion, we require a full-time
Training
Co-ordinator, preferably with knowledge of the construction industry, to expand our portfolio at our new training centre in Laurencekirk.

The flexibility of Ringlink Services together with a national network of professional instructors and assessors has allowed the company to deliver its training throughout the entire country, accredited to deliver Lantra, NPTC City & Guilds and NPORS, providing a complete training and assessment package for the entire UK market.


With over 25 years expertise in providing the highest quality training solutions - Ringlink Services Ltd are proud to be a trusted training provider at business level providing courses for local council authorities, utility companies and a wide range of industry sectors.

Typically, the business provides courses to approx. 9000 trainees annually, with a training turnover of approx. £1million.


The role:


As a
Training Co-ordinator for Ringlink Services you will work with our existing training team to engage with current clients and to develop new clients within construction, agriculture and other industries, with a view to arranging and managing their training requirements.

You will be an engaging communicator, able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

As you will be working with a small team, we are looking for a people person who is a problem solver, with a 'can-do' attitude.


Applicants should have at least 3 years' relevant experience in sales, customer service and experience within the training industries would also be advantageous.


Key responsibilities will include:


  • To discuss training needs with clients and maintain appropriate records of requirements on computer database.
  • To identify training requirements and organise appropriate training courses at appropriate times to suit the clients work load.
  • To liaise with instructors to agree suitable training days and organise training calendar.
  • Provide administration support for training, including the booking of trainees on courses, ensuring appropriate training material is organised and venues arranged.
  • To promote training to new and existing clients through structured customer visits.

Our requirements:


  • Experience within a sales/customer service environment would be beneficial although not essential
  • The job will hold many new areas of learning for the successful applicant and therefore the desire to learn is of significant importance.
  • A knowledge of plant and machinery would be beneficial to this role.
  • A background of training administration and / or training organisation would be beneficial although not essential.
  • Highly organised, adaptable and able to provide accurate work.
  • An effective communicator and a real people person who is great at building relationships whether by telephone or in person.
  • Great team player with a willingness to discuss positive and negative business issues.
  • Computer literate ideally with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Works well under pressure to achieve given targets within the area of training provision.
  • With a drive to succeed, you will relish a challenge
