1 Assist in the setting up and maintenance of a vibrant and well organised learning environment including arranging educational materials, displays and resources.
2 Development of age-appropriate curriculum programmes related to- physical education
- sports activities
- games to improve physical ability.
- diet to support healthy lifestyles.
- relaxation for improved mental health
- sport for students with additional support needs (ASN)
- sports injuries and their care/health and safety
- sports science
- science of kinetics
2 Advise tutors with regards to best practice in Physical and Mental wellbeing
3 Create and develop lessons for curriculum programmes.
4 Deliver lessons, assess and record progress.
5 Create recording systems to support student progress in improving physical and mental health.
6 Engage in quality assurance activities.
7 Commit to CPD related to this post e.g., SVQ in Children and Young People SCQF Level 8/ SVQ Learning and Development SCQF Level 8 or equivalent.
8 Advise Glenala Education Ltd with regards to latest developments in Health and Wellbeing and keep abreast of current research.
Salary:
£28,000.00 per year
