A Real Place is the world's first platform for real-life face-to-face networking - and it is not an Internet-based technology.

You will be given an initial equity share of 1%, rising to 8% ownership of the company, on achievement of agreed targets.

You will have the option to take up a full-time position as CFO of a Real Place Limited. You will initially drive investment and funding, while developing core business strategy together with the CEO and leadership team. As CFO you will subsequently lead on all aspects of company Finance.

You should preferably have C-suite experience already, ideally in Tech or related sectors. Accounting qualifications are mandatory. An MBA is desirable but not essential.

A Real Place Limited is based in London UK, with intellectual property in the USA.


CFO and Co-founder of a Real Place Limited
This is a senior leadership position on the Board of Directors of a Real Place Limited.

In addition to contributing to all aspects of the business, the CFO will work together with the leadership team to secure investment and funding for a Real Place.

The CFO is an autonomous leader, a senior Director and part-owner of a Real Place Limited. The CFO is not yet a salaried employee. You will initially contribute a minimum of 5 hours of smart working per week.

Once the company becomes operational and is generating revenue, the CFO has the option to take up a full-time salaried position.

• The CFO will work together with the leadership team to ensure the success of a Real Place as a business and the fulfilment of its mission.
• The CFO will contribute her/his skills and talents to the maximum benefit of a Real Place Limited.
• The CFO will initially lead on securing funding and investment for a Real Place Limited.
• The CFO will lead on financial requirements for commercial funding, public / Govt funding and / or crowd funding for a Real Place Limited.
• The CFO will lead on investment into a Real Place through the sale of equity and / or share issues.
• The CFO will produce financial projections for A Real Place Limited.
• The CFO will produce business plans together with the leadership team of a Real Place Limited.
• The CFO will contribute to pitches, pitch decks and promotional materials together with the management team, leading on all aspects of Finance.
• The CFO will work together with the CEO and leadership team on the monetisation of intellectual property for a Real Place.
• The Director will work together with the CEO and leadership team on the monetisation of the new Real Place platform.
• The Director will work together with the CEO and leadership team on the monetisation of our patents for safe pathogen-free meeting spaces.
• The CFO will report to the CEO and will lead on all aspects of company Finance.
• The CFO will never act against the interests of A Real Place Limited or bring the company into disrepute.
• The CFO will discharge all legal and fiduciary duties relating to their position as a Senior Director on the Board of a Real Place.
• The CFO devises evidence‐based strategies based on sound business plans and forecasts.
• The CFO creates business plans that are attractive to investors and strategic partners leading to large scale investment and successful partnerships.
• The CFO will provide strong and inspirational leadership to Finance teams.
• The CFO fulfils all legal and financial obligations relating to tax, company accounts and audit to ensure that the company remains in full compliance with the law.

The CFO will work together with the leadership team to achieve the targets below for further equity options.


Equity Targets

The CFO will be rewarded with an initial 1% equity share in A Real Place Limited, rising to 8% (ownership with voting rights) on full achievement of the targets shown below.

For further additional 6% equity (pro-rata):

The CFO takes a lead role in increasing the value of the company by £1.8 million pro-rata and / or pro-rata as part of the leadership team.

For further additional 1% equity:

The CFO fulfils all legal and financial obligations relating to tax, company accounts and audit to ensure that the company remains in full compliance with the law.
