Job description:

Step Teachers are currently looking for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant in a Secondary School in Woolwich. The role is a Part time, 30hours 5 days per week, starting in September 2023.

This school sets high expectations for both students and staff and is driven to see every student succeed in their education.

The school are rated 'Good' by Ofsted and has a very inclusive ethos atmosphere that supports every student to succeed.

Role:

Able to deliver lessons and confidently lead a class across all year groups in the school
Upkeep a tidy and organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
Work effectively with other members of staff in the classroom and throughout the school
Ability to support students and encourage their progression
Willingness to comply with the schools' policies and implement them effectively

Requirements:

Recent experience working in a Secondary school is essential
A good knowledge of the curriculum in Key Stage 3 and
A recognised HLTA qualification and relevant experience at this level
SEND experience is desirable
