What is the role?
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Groundworks team. The role typically reports to the Site Agent/Contracts Manager.
The purpose of the role is to prepare the ground before, during and after the construction project, in accordance with NHBC and company standards.
The role will include:
- Manage and prioritise workloads in order to complete highquality ground preparations in a timely manner and in accordance with set NHBC standards.
- Infrastructure and groundworks experience
- External drainage and roadworks, foundations and oversites
- Ability to read drawings
- Comply with responsibilities as defined in the Group's HS&E Policy and ensure compliance throughout team
What experience, qualifications and skills are we looking for?
- Familiar with construction industry safety standards and procedures
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience working onsite in similar roles and Groundworks projects experience
- The ability to multitask with supervisory skills
- Valid Managers CSCS, SSSTS or SMSTS certification
- BTEC or NVQ4 in Site Management and First Aid Certificate
