We are growing our services and are looking
for an Assistant Manager.
To provide support to young people with complex needs and emotional behavioural difficulties.
Location Central Manchester
Hours 37.5 hours per week
Salary £30,986.00 annual salary
In addition to this basic salary, you will also receive additional payments for being on-call (on a rota basis with all other registered/ assistant managers)
- 2 yearly salary increments.
- 27 days annual leave rising to 30 after 5 years and 33 after 10 years plus bank holidays.

Do you have a successful career in Social Care?
Have you gained your QCF level 4 Leadership & Management in care, or QCF level 3 in Health & Social Care (children & young people) or equivalent.

Main Responsibilities
You will assist the Registered Manager with all aspects of running the home and supporting and supervising of a staff team.
You will work in partnership and collaboration, with therapeutic practices to promote the needs of each child throughout their time with us.
The Assistant Manager is responsible for:
- Coaching and mentoring the team around the Placement Plan objectives defined by the Registered Manager.
- Ensuring consistency of the team and care around each child.
- Being the primary contact for the people within the home, ensuring that they are supported, engaged, supervised, and understand how they can be the best that they can be at work.
