Are you an experienced SEN Teacher looking for a new role in Wandsworth?
Can you teach the primary curriculum?
Have you had experience teaching an array of children with Special Educational Needs?

SEN Teacher

Qualiteach is currently working with an SEN School who is looking to take on 2 more SEN Teachers with immediate effect.

They are looking for qualified teachers who preferably have had previous experience working in a SEN School or a strong primary trained Teacherwho has a passion to want to teach students with special educational needs, as training and support will be provided where required.

You will be responsible for a small class of 6-8 students with Moderate Needs, Autism and Speech and Language Difficulties.

You will be expected to plan and deliver lessons by following the national curriculum and taking into consideration the learning styles of each of your students and their needs.

During your lessons you will have 2 Teaching Assistants who will be there to helpyou set up activities, support the students during lessons, manage behaviour, and assist with trips to the toilet.

Therefore, the ideal SEN Teacher for this role must be passionate about their job and have a kind and nurturing approach.


SEN School

This SEN School is located in the London Borough of Wandsworth and caters for girls and boys aged between 11-16 years with Speech, language and Communication Difficulties, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Multi-Sensory Impairments, Moderate Learning Difficulty,Severe Learning Difficulty and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties.

They currently have 230 students who attend and in their last Ofsted in December 2017, they were reviewed as 'Good' in all areas.
