Are you an experience Primary practitioner looking for KS1 Teaching post in September 2023? Do you live or can you get to the Kingston Upon Thames borough?

If so to the above I might have the role for you****This is a KS1 teaching opportunity based in the New Malden area, the school have a member of staff retiring at the end of the year and have approached me to support them in finding the right educator for them.

This easily accessed school aims to providea welcoming, supportive environment where beliefs and values are developed and nurtured whilst they make it possible for every child to learn to their full potential regardless of gender, ethnic origin, disability or additional need, and religion.

They primarilyfocus on providing a safe and happy environment in which every child is able to develop confidence, self-knowledge, self-esteem and respect for themselves and others.

In this role you will be responsible for preparing, planning, and organising lesson resources, effectively teaching designated pupils whilst undertaking both behavioural and emotional support.

As well as these responsibilities you will have to ensure that allgeneral teaching duties are completed whilst flexing between year groups and having the ability to adapt your management skills regarding the different aged pupils.

This role is not suitable for ECT's. The school are looking to bring in a Teacher between M2-M6 scale.

The successful KS1 Teacher will:

Have previous KS1 teaching experience.
Be an enthusiastic and motivated professional.
Be fully qualified; have a UK QTS.
Have phonic, preferably Read Write Inc, experience however not compulsory.
Be an ambitious individual who aspires to lead.
Be confident in classroom and behaviour management.
Establish warm, supportive relationships with all pupils whilst also creating a welcoming, safe environment.
