Scale 3, £21,432 - £22,677

Hours: 37 hours per week

Job Purpose:


Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Review of all clothing and equipment requests including scale of issue, entitlement and personal issue history.
  • Accurate selection and distribution of the full range of stock inventory items.
  • Fitting of clothing and equipment to all uniform, non - uniform and specialist roles including the measurement and fitting of specialist body armour.
  • To receipt and accurately record deliveries in from various suppliers and to liaise with them to report any discrepancies and arrange goods needing return due to being faulty or incorrectly delivered.
  • To record all stock movements onto the inventory control stock management system in a timely manner, placing close attention to detail to maintain accuracy. To complete the individual and departments KPI's.
  • Proactively monitor stock levels on a daily basis and replenish as required, informing the Uniform Supplies Supervisors when stocks are low or out.
  • Undertake weekly stock counts as directed by the Supplies Supervisor.
  • Identification of returned uniform and equipment for either secure disposal or for re-introduction into stock.

Essential Qualifications:

Educated to QCF Level 2 OR work experience deemed to have brought the postholder to a comparable level.


Essential Experience:

Experience of working in a stores environment or a position which has involved the measurement and issuing of clothing.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
