Description
A Business Support Administrator is required by a family owned specialist steelwork fabricator based on Canvey Island.What you'll be doing:
- Working closely with the Director, assisting in coordinating, hiring and offhiring and tracking of all plant hire
- Parking all staff on site via app
- Ensuring site passes and site manuals are prepared for new and ongoing jobs
- Assisting the Quality Manager with Health and Safety and Compliance tasks
- Processing and signing off invoices using PO spread sheet / Month end reconciliations / Credit Card management
- Assist in social media
- Ensure meetings rooms are prepared for meetings including refreshments and any paperwork
- Answer all incoming calls, transfer to the relevant individual and take messages in their absence
- Handling the incoming and outgoing post
- Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Ensure records and files are kept up to date at all times
- Monitor office expenses and costs
- Assisting the accounts department with day to day accounting tasks
- Assist in HR Administration
Skills helpful for the role:
- Proficient with MS Office products
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Good attention for detail
