What you will be doing?


The Purchasing Administrator will report directly into the Purchasing Team Manager and is responsible for conducting full and varied procurement duties.


This role will be supporting our ambitions to develop and grow our award-winning success with our direct and distribution partners.

With a record of high achievements in a business-to-business environment we are looking for an individual that has the attitude and aptitude to demonstrate excellence in:

  • Placing orders for operational areas of the business
  • Keeping databases updated
  • Maintain supplier evaluation and process forms.
  • Keeping various purchasing reports up to date daily
  • Managing purchasing inbox for external orders
  • Backorder management
  • Resolution of Supplier quality and/or delivery issues directly or via case management
  • Other adhoc duties as assigned.
  • Holding key accountability until deliveries are complete.
  • Maintain communication between vendors, and distributors always during the ordering process to ensure SLA's and expectations are met.

What is needed?

  • Computer literate, strong working knowledge of MS Office including Excel to at least an intermediate level required.
  • High level of experience working in an office
  • Be able to work to deadlines.
  • Proven experience of success in a highly administrative role, in a fastpaced environment
  • Selfmotivated, organised, can prioritise and must be customer focused.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of ERP Systems
