Meraki Talent are exclusively engaged on a permanent FP&A Accountant role based in Edinburgh city centre paying £40,000 - £50,000 plus a competitive benefits package.

The RoleThis highly commercial finance position is a newly created opportunity to aid strategy, direction and decision making to maintain it's domestic dominance, whilst also gradually taking market share of Europe.

The role will business partner with a variety of senior non-financial stakeholders and departments, mainly sales & marketing to provide valuable financial insight, assess business cases and conduct investment appraisal.

Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Finance and with a dotted line to the Chief Financial Officer, this opportunity will provide fantastic potential to be mentored & guide by two exceptional finance leaders that both have a proven track record of advancingthe careers of aspiring finance professionals.

The key role components will include:

Reporting to and deputising for the Head of Commercial Finance with a dotted line to the CFO
Production and presentation of monthly reporting packs
Business partnering with nonfinancial individuals and departments, mainly sales & marketing
Providing financial analysis & insight to critical businesses cases, projects and investment appraisal committee
KPI setting and monitoring
Budget setting and monitoring with ability to understand & challenge variances
Forecasting and cashflow analysis
Ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet
Feeding into BAU finance for monthend, yearend and annual audit

On OfferThe role of FP&A Accountant is based in Edinburgh city centre with excellent flexible and hybrid working. The role only requires office presence 1-2 days per week, however there are some weeks that complete remote working would also be acceptable.

The positionwill also offer:
- £40,000 - £50,000 base salary
