Reed Accountancy are currently working with one of the country's leading manufacturing businesses in
Wakefield in search for a
Credit Controller to start ASAP.

This great business is offering a full-time vacancy (part-time negotiable). Accountancy qualifications are not necessary but experience in Credit Control is desired.

Key responsibilities

  • Report to the Financial Controller
  • Primarily Credit Control for 2 companies including cash allocation and forecasting
  • Incorporate Purchase Ledger processing and may include some sales invoicing
  • Assist with ISO and H&S, company vehicle administration including monthly mileage reports, plus other ad hoc tasks
  • Allocating cash on a weekly basis, produce reports and problems page
  • Deal with petty cash, chasing cash and retentions

You need to be able to demonstrate

  • Proficient in Microsoft packages (Excel, word, outlook)
  • Previous experience in Credit Control
  • Good team player with a cando attitude
  • Strong workethic
  • Possess excellent communication skills
