Automotive, Off-Highway, Test & Services

We are currently working with a specialist supplier of test equipment and cells who design, develop, install and commission new cells, predominately within the automotive and off-highway markets seeking to recruit a Quality Manager.

The main responsibilitieswill be to improve quality management systems, processes and procedures, support internal and external auditing, work with customers to deal with quality concerns championing root cause and improvements across all areas of the business.

As Quality Systems Manager you will be required to:

Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance operational performance
Build strong relationships across the business, ensuring the maintenance of a quality culture
Facilitate the Management Review with Senior Management
Engage with customers to gain feedback on product and installation quality
Manage customer complaint activity and requirements
Lead on Quality Assurance matters with suppliers and manufacturing
Manage and improve the internal quality management systems, to include overseeing all internal and external audits including (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 17025 & ISO 45001)
Investigations are carried out into any failure of Quality
Support in producing and presenting customer 8D reports and corrective action plans
Lead the monthly Quality Round Table (QRT) meeting for the UK and European HQ
Work with the Purchasing Manager to develop and implement a Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) process

As Quality Systems Manager you will have:

Experience of managing and maintaining QMS to include all procedures and processes within an engineering and installation arena (ISO9001, 14001, 17025 & 45001)
Strong Problem Solving techniques (e.g. 8D, Ishikawa, Six Sigma)
Lead Auditor Qualification
Recognised CQI or IRCA qualification in quality or equivalent
CE / UKCA marking experience
