The Housing Network are looking for a
Maintenance Operative in
Ipswich to support with all aspects of responsive property as well as planned maintenance.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Oversee void rooms and units to prepare for new occupier
- Oversee maintenance of common part areas
- Painting
- Basic Plumbing
- Basic carpentry including door hanging (Essential)
- Lock changing (Essential)
- Gardening including fencing
- Bathrooms and kitchen repairs
- Furniture / Rubbish removals
- Cleaning (desirable)
- Problem solving
Essential skills:
- Basic carpentry including door hanging
- Lock changing
- Basic knowledge of electrics
- Previous experience as a maintenance operative in multisite
- Basic knowledge of gas boilers & electric heating systems
- Driving license

Package:
£30,000- 32,000 per annum + company car, fuel card, expense card, 21 days holidays + bank holidays, social events and initiatives
