- Investigating supplier non‐conformances and leading root cause analysis.
- Ensuring supplier compliance with Napier's Quality Management System through audits and improvement action plans.
- Measuring and maintaining supplier performance in line with the Napier Vendor Assessment system.
- Leading supplier investigations and managing corrective action processes (5‐Why, Fishbone, DMAIC, 8D).
- Supporting suppliers with technical and process improvements.
- Conducting supplier risk assessments and participating in new supplier evaluations and approvals.
- Managing supplier scorecards, KPIs, and quality performance dashboards.
- Collaborating cross‐functionally with Procurement, Operations, Engineering, and Commercial teams.
- Experience within Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, Production Engineering, Supplier Development or Supplier Management
- Experience in a regulated industry (automotive, aerospace, medical devices, etc.) is advantageous.
- APQP, PPAP, FMEA (Process & Design), MSA, SPC
- 8D, root cause analysis tools
- Lean & Six Sigma methodologies
- Managing supplier deviation and non‐conformance processes
- Engineering drawing interpretation
- Understanding manufacturing processes: CNC machining, moulding, castings, welding, coatings, investment casting

How will you make a difference?
We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join our Procurement & Supply Chain function. In this key role, you will investigate and resolve supplier non‐conformance issues, ensure suppliers meet our stringent quality system requirements, and drive continual improvement across our approved supplier base.
