Twenty4Seven Education is delighted to be working alongside this lovely primary school located in the North of Cardiff.

Theta re looking for a teaching assistant to work in their year 6 class as a general teaching assistant supporting the classroom teacher and working with pupils who are struggling to access the curriculum.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Support the classroom teacher
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of learning activities
  • Take small groups of pupils and complete set learning activities
  • Supervise during individual learning
  • Supervise during lunch and outdoor play
  • Discuss with pupils and teachers how best to support their learning
  • Will be positive, supportive, and dedicated to learning
  • Will be able to assist in planning and preparation for the school day
  • Will be confident in helping and supporting the classroom teacher in all aspects of the role
  • Will have a good command of the English language
  • Will have a minimum of 3months experience working with children or in an educational setting
  • Teaching assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential.

£65.00-£75.00 per day
