Do you have previous behaviour assistant experience working with teenagers, or children who sometimes display challenging behaviours? Do you have experience supporting behaviour within a Secondary School? My work force partner secondary school in Wakefield, is currently seeking to appoint confident Behaviour Support assistants to work with students on a 1:1 and small group basis during the school day.

The job title has many names and is often called Behaviour Support Worker, Behaviour Support Assistant, Specialist Learning Assistant, Behaviour Mentor and Behaviour Buddy

Working as a Behaviour Support Assistant within this mixed comprehensive secondary school in Bradford, you will be expected to have experience supporting students with additional learning needs, and challenging behaviour across KS3 and KS- Full time/Part Time opportunity

  • Wakefield/ Castleford, Pontefract and surrounding areas


This position is initially being offered on a full-time temporary basis, with longer term prospects for the appointed Behaviour Support Assistant.

You will be fully supported by the school SENCO within this position and will work directly on a 1:1 and small group basis with students who portray challenging behaviour.
