Description

The Department of Urology at University College Hospital at The Westmoreland Street is looking to recruit a highly motivated and dedicated Clinical Fellow for a fixed term of 6 months starting from April 2023.


We are a highly specialist department seeing referrals from across the UK and abroad as well as being a centre for excellence and research.


The consultants with their specialties are:
Professor Ralph - General andrology and reconstruction

Mr Christopher - Phalloplasty, reconstruction and general andrology

Mr Muneer - General andrology & penile cancer

Miss Sangster - General andrology & infertility

Mr Alnajjar - General andrology & penile cancer


The general urology department offers comprehensive care for the whole spectrum of Urology services and is split into 6 sub-groups, the teams work together closely along with other services such as the Assisted Conception Unit, Oncology and Uro-radiology.


The subspecialty teams within the Urology Department are:

  • Reconstructive Urology
  • Functional Adolescent & Restorative Urology
  • Stones (including Lithotripsy)
  • Andrology
  • Urooncology
The unit consists of five consultants, six fellows, three nurse specialists and junior staff.


Fellows rotate to increase their experience, gaining good access to both first time and revision implants, Nesbitt and grafting for Peyronie's disease, surgical sperm retrieval, microsurgery, surgical treatment for penile cancer lymphadenectomy and phalloplasty procedures.

Research is encouraged.
