Service Desk Analyst / Technical Support Engineer
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Technical Support Engineer / Service Desk Analyst to join a company in Wakefield as they embark on a large IT transformation journey, with their IT Department being central to the delivery of the company's new 5+year IT transformation strategy.
The vacancy has arisen due to promotion of another team mate and offers the same progression opportunity to anyone joining the business.
Responsibilities will include:
- To act as the first point of contact for users and suppliers for all IT support queries and issues.
- Ensure that all Incidents and Service Requests are logged correctly in the IT Service Management Tool.
- Work closely with users and other IT support teams to ensure incidents and requests are resolved within agreed SLA's
- Assign or escalate issues to the appropriate team/third party for assistance when required
