What you'll do
Responding to enquirers (Commercial / Service / Technical)- Confirming current technical solutions

  • Assisting in sales qualification through evaluation of requirements against technical options
  • Validating solution specification
Sales- Responsible for technical support to commercial discussions

  • Responsible for providing costs for Finance approval
  • Responsible for providing the technical component of bid material and Assisting the sales team during the bid discussions with the customer
  • Responsible for presenting the technical solution to client at peer level
Design Support- Responsible for understanding, capturing and managing the customer requirements, using additional resources where appropriate

  • Responsible for ensuring that all designs include an appropriate network or solution management component to support monitoring, reporting and capacity planning
  • Responsible for gaining sign off for technical design (both customer's and internal designs)

Who you are

Pre-Sales Solution Specialists have knowledge of the following:

  • Basic level business functions (Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Strategy etc.)
  • The requirements capture process and expected outputs
  • The precontract/sales cycle
  • An understanding of the Vodafone order and delivery processes
Our Pre-Sales Solution Specialists typically exhibit the following skills:

  • Background in Telecommunications/Technology
  • Ability to determine the critical success factor of delivery
  • Willingness to develop and adapt to meet changing client and market expectations
  • Significant problem solving ability using innovation and initiative
  • Ability to operate as a Solution Owner for opportunities with low to medium complexity up to a value of £30m TCV
