Description

We are looking to hire a dedicated carer who enjoys working with children. You would provide care for a child with Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy in a family home.

Applicants will work as part of a personal healthcare package to provide care over a 24 hour period working 8 to12 hour shifts.

The main duties will include Tracheostomy care, Enteral Feeding, Physio, personal care, caring in the home, accompanying to school and outings with the family.

Full training is provided.

Experience in care is desirable but other childcare workers will be considered. It is essential you enjoy working with Children and are willing to learn new skills.

Hours are a set shift pattern of 4 on 4 off working earlies, lates and nights (waking) on a rolling rota.

Applicants must be flexible to cover holidays, sickness and overtime if needed.

Own Car and driving licence is essential due to location as there is no public transport.
