The Role (Key Responsibilities)

  • Credit Control related tasks
  • Preparing debt collection letters once debts come 90 days old
  • Entering client receipts daily onto the Practice Management system (CCH)
  • Maintaining CCH at all times and keeping it up to date with:
  • Details of any communication with the client
  • Posting unallocated receipts and credit balances on CCH
  • Match off credit notes that have been raised against the relevant Invoice on CCH
  • Sending custom statements and debtor reports to departments and partners
  • Ad hoc administration for the finance team
  • Holiday cover for members of the finance team, in order to maintain monthly accounting deadlines

Person specification:


  • Highly organised
  • Able to deal with clients in a calm and professional way and therefore have a very good telephone manner
  • A personable team player who can also work unsupervised at home
  • Able to motivate themselves and work under pressure, whilst working to strict deadlines and meeting targets
  • Attentive to detail with a high level of accuracy in their work
  • Interested in working with figures and spreadsheets

Experience, Skills and Qualifications required

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 4 GCSE's grade C or above (or equivalent) which must include Maths and English
  • A qualification or high level of experience in Microsoft Excel is essential
  • Prior experience of system input is also essential

Salary:
£20,000.00 per year
