Position Description:

Marshalls Metal Fabrication Ltd is seeking a Fabricator Welder to join our team in Wincanton.

The Fabricator Welder will be responsible for the production of parts from raw material or metal parts that have been cut to proper size and shape using various equipment including but not limited to grinders, presses, welding machines, presses and oxy-acetylene torch.

The position requires the ability to read drawings and specifications and follow instructions for the proper assembly of parts. The position requires the ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.


Qualifications:

• Must be able to read and understand instructions;
• Ability to work overtime as required;
• Ability to work independently;
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers;
• Willingness to learn new skills

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Wincanton: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• MIG welding: 1 year (preferred)
• Fabrication: 1 year (preferred)
