We have an exciting opportunity for a Supporter Relations Officer to join our team promoting the work of Dogs Trust to key audience groups.

Dogs Trust is the UK's largest dog welfare charity and normally cares for around 14,000 dogs across its network of 21 rehoming centres in the UK and one in Dublin.

Dogs Trust has a non-destruction policy and will never put a healthy dog to sleep.

The role of the Supporter Relations is primarily to promote the work of Dogs Trust to key audience groups by providing first-class customer care to potential and existing legacy pledgers; this includes carrying out presentations in the community, managing press and social media messaging and responses as well as organising rehoming centre tours and supporter events.

They are also part of the team responsible for organising and attending the national DogFest events with the Dogs Trust Village.

The position is based at a Dogs Trust Rehoming Centre, but is part of the Marketing Department.

You'll work closely with the Regional Supporter Relations Manager for your area, ensuring they are kept updated with all developments and work undertaken.

N.B.

Due to the nature of this role and its interaction with vulnerable adults and/or children or requirement to carry out financial transactions on behalf of Dogs Trust the successful applicant will be required to undergo a Disclosure & Barring Service (or other relevant body) check before employment is confirmed.
