Description

D&F Management Solutions, a Teesside-based renewable energy company, is looking for a driven and enthusiastic Finance and Administration Assistant to join us at our head office in Stokesley.

Reporting to the Financial Coordinator, this role offers an opportunity for growth and development within the Finance function.


Key Responsibilities:


Purchase Order Management:

  • Administer the purchase order system, issuing orders as required.
  • Ensure purchase orders are authorised and issued in compliance with company policies.
  • Address and resolve any orderrelated queries promptly.

Invoice Processing:

  • Check invoices against purchase orders and/or weighbridge records, investigating any discrepancies.
  • Post invoices on the accounting system, ensuring they are accurately recorded and categorised.

Managing Spend on Credit Cards:

  • Process, monitor and manage expenditures on company credit cards.
  • Reconcile credit card statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to credit card expenses.

Additional Support to Finance Department:

  • Process intercompany recharges between group companies.
  • Assist with processing of employee expenses, including checking compliance with policies.
  • Provide general support to the finance function where required.

Travel Bookings:

  • Assist with travel arrangements for employees, including flight bookings, accommodation, and transport.
  • Ensure travel bookings align with the company's travel policies and budgets.

General Office Administration:

  • Provide support for general office administrative tasks as needed, including filing, organising, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Assist with other adhoc administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation of the office.

Qualifications / Person Specification:


  • Previous experience in a similar finance and administration role is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Familiarity with accounting and financial systems/software is a plus.
  • A selfmotivated, adaptable, and proactive approach to tasks.

Salary:
£21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
