You will be based with Oxford Health Foundation Trust, adhering to their operational policies and procedures.

About the role:

Family work is part of the Early Help strategy in Bucks, supporting children and their families to access the right intervention from the right professional at the right time.

Family Workers within the MHST work with families (on a one-to-one basis and within groups) with the aim to deliver better outcomes for children, young people and parents by working closely with partners to identify need, assess and support children, young people and their families in a way that builds resilience and reduces dependency on statutory services.

Our approach is holistic, considering and responding to the needs of young people and their families, providing individual support and group work programmes to enable them to reach their full potential and achieve positive outcomes.

You will be skilled in building effective professional relationships with families and professionals and passionate about making a difference for children and young people.
