Accountancy Practice Specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on an Accounts Semi Senior opportunity on behalf of our client, a progressive firm of Chartered Accountants in Taunton, Somerset.


This is an opportunity to join a leading firm where you will have structured career progression & training, lots of flexibility and an excellent work life balance.


You will ideally be AAT Qualified and/ or studying towards ACA or ACCA, working in practice with a good working knowledge of the preparation of year end financial statemements, management accounts, VAT returns & bookkeeping and corporate tax computations.


Our client is offering an excellent remuneration and benefits package, full ACA/ ACCA study support (optional), health insurance and hybrid/ flexible working.

Part time will be considered.

The role can be seen in more detail below:


Responsibilities:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
Drafting corporate tax computations
Preparation of management accounts
Streamlining clients business/ accounting processes
VAT returns & bookkeeping
Training clients on accountancy software
Client meetings
Dealing with client/ HMRC queries


Requirements:

AAT Student/ Qualified and/ or ACA/ ACCA Student
Practice experience is essential
Good working knowledge of accountancy software
Working knowledge of FRS105 & FRS102
