Here at Desty Marine Superyachts, we have an excellent opportunity for experienced Boat Finishers to join our new and highly skilled team in Hythe.

You will work on various production lines building new superyachts ranging from 60-131ft.

Job role will include:

• Preparation of tooling for gelling.
• Basic polyester laminating
• Using basic power/air tools
• Trimming new mouldings
• Bonding first and secondary bulkheads
• Repairing GRP mouldings
• Read and understand lay up drawings.
• Complying with health and safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work area

What do you need to join our team?

• Unfaltering attention to detail
• Can do attitude
• Ability to work efficiently with mínimal supervision
• Knowledge of different cloths
• Knowledge of core materials and pastes
• 5 years minimum within the marine industry
• Your own basic tools

This site is based at Hythe Shipyard, working hours are 07:00am to 18:00pm Mon to Thurs. Friday 07:00am to 13:00pm.


This role can be permanent or contract, rates and benefits differ depending.
