37 hours per week 39 weeks per year (term time only) plus additional 5 days during vacation periods and/or specified evenings

We are a highly successful Sixth Form College with over 3, year-old students, and we require an Assistant Librarian for our small, College library team.

This role requires the post holder to fulfil general library duties, as well as acting as a Subject Librarian and lead in liaison with named academic departments.

The College Library is a busy and varied working environment and its purpose is to provide an efficient and cost-effective information and learning resource service to support both students and staff.

The Library is housed on the first floor of the original building and provides students and staff with both physical and virtual information services and a range of different study areas.

Our study areas include a monitored silent study area and other less formal spaces.
