Fundraising Assistant, a temporary opportunity to join a Local Hospice Charity, based in South London. Office based, though some flexibility to work from home can be discussed.

In this exciting opportunity to work within a busy fundraising team and has the potential for you to learn and develop a variety of fundraising skills and in-depth knowledge of fundraising activity and stewardship.

Working with the Fundraising Manager and team you will provide administrative and fundraising support to the Fundraising department.

The role will focus on being the first point of contact for supporters, in person and on the phone, as well as supportingthe team.

Meeting with supporters at reception, receiving donations and ensuring these are dealt with appropriately, as well as ensuring donations are recorded correctly.
Processing and thanking donations and volunteers by producing thank you letters and donation certificates.
Helping with the completion and recording of registration forms for challenges and events
Make welcome and thank you calls to supporters.

We are looking for you to have excellent administrative skills and also organisational. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Experience of working with CRM databases. Excellent relationship building skills. Enhanced adult DBS is required.
