About the Head of Marketing Role
Prolectric's Head of Marketing will lead the Company-wide marketing strategy and develop our brand's presence.

They will unlock the value of Marketing (capital "M"); competitive positioning, brand positioning, brand awareness, fully omnichannel and integrated marketing campaigns (all channels / all mediums), as well as 'always on' marketing.


Accountable for the development, implementation and execution of strategic marketing plans and approach for the entire organisation in order to connect our products and services with their target audience.

Positioning Prolectric in a compelling way that is consistent across all channels, you'll grow brand awareness, attract new customers and retain existing ones.

A great business leader, as well as great marketing leader.

You'll be responsible for working with executives to determine budgets and targets, as well as charged with the shaping, positioning of and launching of new products and services, and developing pricing strategies for products and services.


The marketing department will look to the HoD of Marketing for guidance and direction, and the Board and peers count on for profitability and results.

As part of Prolectric, you'll play a critical role in aligning creative direction with the company's strategic goals.


The role will require leading all areas of the marketing department and wider freelancers; including all offline and online media marketing, traditional media marketing, PR, partnerships/affiliate, brand, designers, digital marketing, web-based content, social media marketing, direct marketing, copywriters etc, all to ensure brand, PR and marketing activity and campaigns are in alignment with the core brand message.


This is a role with numerous senior responsibilities, managing lots of moving parts and requiring extensive sector and legal knowledge.


Key responsibilities:


  • Research, develop and outline the key components of a strategic Marketing plan that will align overall marketing and business goals.
  • Leading the development of a Companywide Marketing strategy, with its associated marketing strategies and plans.
  • Developing and implementing a strategic marketing plan(s) and approach(es) for the entire organisation in order to connect our products and services with their target audience.
  • Developing Prolectric's brand identity in consultation with senior managers, executives, and partner agencies.
  • Developing Prolectric's brand awareness and presence, through PR and brand campaigns.
  • Conducting strategic marketing analysis that will guide marketing messages, positioning Prolectric to standout in the market.
  • Shaping, positioning, and launching of new products and services, and developing pricing strategies for products and services.
  • Consistently identifying new and/or expanded revenue opportunities and strategising the implementation of plans to take advantage of them.
  • Ensuring flawless implementation of effective integrated, ominchannel marketing campaigns (all channels and all mediums).
  • Building strong relationships with potential partnerships /affiliates / trade associations to leverage value for Prolectric including; marketing opportunities, brand awareness opportunities, industry updates, ongoing advice and support to navigate everdeveloping industry legislation.
  • As the business scales, identifying ways to grow the marketing department and secure resources to meet the demands of the Company objectives and growing business.
  • Sourcing talent to ensure the curation and retention of specialist skill sets across your teams.
  • Conception, development and implementation of marketing plans and strategies, product concepts and promotional programmes to drive interest and sales.
  • Focusing on growing audiences and the uptake for products and services.
