Looking for a job that is part time with the flexibility to work from home on some of the days? Have you got payroll experience and know how to use iTrent HR & Payroll systems? If so, we would welcome your interest in our vacancy.


We have a part time Payroll Officer vacancy to work 3 days per week in our small but experienced busy team.

Your role would be responsible for processing and running specific payrolls for the council and our commercial customers.

In April 22, we successfully implemented our new iTrent system and are keen to attract professional users of the system, who have knowledge and skills in this area.

You will require knowledge of Local Government and Teachers Pensions from a payroll perspective, and able to demonstrate your knowledge of statutory payments such as statutory maternity pay/sick pay.

Working in a friendly, welcoming, and supportive team you will also require the ability to utilise Microsoft Excel and a willingness to learn how to use some of our internal document and transactional systems.

Special requirements for this post:

Payroll Officer experience
2 years iTrent for payroll experience
Knowledge of Statutory Payments
Good knowledge of Excel

Ability to process payrolls and data accurately and efficiently.

To be successful in this role, you will need strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service to our customers.
