Description

Working as part of the analytical team, the analytical chemist will be responsible for day to day running of the instrumentation laboratory.

Responsibilities:

To manage on-site laboratory facilities and provide coordination of all analytical requirements, as required for day-to-day business as well as development projects.

Manage the activities of other laboratory personnel. Ensure that all laboratory processesare carried out in a safe and timely manner.

Qualifications and experience

MSc or PhD in analytical chemistry or related discipline with 24 years' experience in method development and sample analysis using GC, GC-MS, TGA, UV/VIS, ICP-OES etc.
Ensuring that all activities comply with SOPs, GLP and GMP requirements.
Ensuring that all work carried out meets the requirements of the company including health, safety and environmental regulations policies.
Liaising directly with customers
Strong knowledge of the development and validation of analytical methods and analytical instruments.
Experience of working in a GMP or GLP laboratory environment.
