Description

We are recruiting for a
Payroll Team Leader to join us in our Head Office in
Milton Keynes.

Reporting into the Group Head of Payroll Services this role is responsible for the team's operational delivery of payroll across the company pay groups.

The key objective will be to ensure accuracy, and drive efficiencies within the payroll function.

Examples of what you will be doing:

To lead, motivate, and coach the Payroll team.
Monitor the Payroll process ensuring accurate and timely payments.
Responsible for overseeing all payroll related data ensuring completion is accurate, timely and compliant with all relevant legislation and statutory regulations.
Responsible for reconciliations in preparation for final sign off.
Preparing monthly BACS submissions.
Responsible for preparation of annual statutory and regulatory requirements
Year end and monthly RTI.
Monthly pension reconciliations and submitting contribution files to pension scheme providers.
Ensuring adherence to GDPR and any breaches are escalated accordingly.
Production and circulation of system reports and analytics within the agreed timeframes.
Responsible for maintaining payroll procedures and implementing process change.
To ensure high levels of confidentiality and integrity are always maintained. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with all stakeholders to provide an efficient payroll service to the business.

Experience you have that will set you up for success:

You will have had experience working for a large organisation with a complex payroll process including dealing with oversight of UK regulatory compliance requirements e.g national minimum wage, variable pay contracts
You are recognised for your diligent approach and attention to detail
You have strong written and verbal skills to communicate succinctly and keep stakeholders engaged on execution through regular progress updates
You will also enjoy working as part of an open and friendly team, with demonstrable experience of commitment to delivery of wider team goals and getting handson under pressure
You will have thrived in dynamic environments.
You will have experience in leading a payroll team.
Experience with Resourcelink software would be ideal but not essential
