Description

Due to business growth, Chris Lewis are now looking to recruit a business admin apprentice. The successful apprentices will be entering into a fabulous environment where all staff are nurtured to grow and develop.

Established in 1993 as Chris Lewis Security Services, Chris Lewis Group has had a long and exciting history.

With nearly 30 years of experience in the fire and security industry, they have worked hard to continually enhance and improve homes, businesses, and schools across the UK.


Day to day tasks for this apprenticeship may include:

  • Handling engineer timesheets
  • Liasing with engineers
  • Booking in jobs
  • Closing jobs
  • Communicating with customers
  • Health and Safety Management
  • Diary Management
  • Talking calls and messages
  • Leading on customer feedback

Desired skills/qualities:


  • Live close to the office if you cannot drive
  • Maths and English at grade 4/C or above, or functional skills level
  • Good communication skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Basic tool knowledge and awareness
  • Good customer service/care skills
Training to be provided

Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.

Skills for Security will deliver the apprenticeship training, remotely, twice a month.


You will be required to complete all training tasks allocated during your dedicated tutor led meetings on MS Teams and gather any on the job evidence needed to supplement your studies.


The employer will train you on the following areas:

  • HubSpot ticket allocation within main customer service pipeline to relevant team member within 2 hours receipt alongside Customer Service KPIs
  • Support planned scheduling and bookings for Maintenances in line with KPIs and in accordance with NSI requirements supporting Business Support Maintenance Lead
  • Assist team with technical call logging and corrective bookings when appropriate
  • Processing of cancellations and ensuring sites closed down on Uptick
  • Assist with daily followups and close down of engineering team
  • Appropriate team cover for holiday and sickness
Things to consider

The apprenticeship is 12-18 months and therefore, full commitment is required.
