Our client is a UK division of a global manufacturing group, who produce specialised products on site and supply the UK supply chain in the production of household consumables.

We are looking to appoint a new UK Finance Manager who can be responsible forall the financial reporting and compliance for two business' within the Group and report into the parent company.

The overall aim of this role is to lead a small finance team and provide accurate financial information to the European management team and global stakeholders.

You will manage a small finance function and assist them in improving controls and processes,alongside the development of automation on the site.

Your role will take responsibility for:

SOX (Sarbanes Oxley)
US GAAP reporting and IFRS Compliance
Audit (either internal or external, ideally both)
Statutory accounts prep
Taxes (Corporation tax, VAT, Employee taxes)
Working with banks, insurance companies etc
Manage the communication within the SLT
Managing a small team of people
Involvement within strategic developments relating to finance
Cash flow projections and reporting on the cash position
Payroll and Pensions

To be successful in this role, you will need to be ACA/ACCA/CIMA and have solid experience within a multi-site organisation preferably with Group reporting and international exposure.

Your previous experience should include:

Knowledge of defined benefit pension legislation.
Monthly management accounts preparation
Leading the statutory accounts and audit process for a large group
Excel skills, including complex formulae, pivot tables and large data sets
Solid understanding of Corporation Tax, VAT and other taxes, both UK and foreign
