Summary
Would you like to work in outstanding Special School as part of our Admin Team? We are looking for an enthusiastic person to take on the role of receptionist to cover Maternity Leave.
Previous experience of working in a special needs setting is not essential as we are looking for an individual that is passionate about working with children and is willing to support our vision.
We currently have 158 children on roll.You will join a team that is passionately committed to harnessing the educational potential of all our children whilst encouraging them to engage in daily life with increased confidence, self-esteem and independence.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
As this post is covering Maternity Leave, it will be a fixed term assignment starting ASAP - November 2024 at 26.5 hours per week.
The post will be paid at a Grade 5 - £12.38 an hour.The hours for the post are as follows:
- Monday
- OFF
- Tuesday 8:30am 4:30pm
- Wednesday
- 8:30am 12:30pm
- Thursday 8:30am 4:30pm
- Friday 8:30am 4:30pm
- General admin duties, such as answering the phone, greeting visitors, front of house
- Producing/sending out letters
- Answering general enquiries
- Attendance and lunch registers
- Phone calls home to parents/carers
- Completing all duties assigned by line manager
