FinTech RS have an opportunity available for an Accounts Assistant with our client, a well established offshore equipment supplier based in Turriff, Aberdeenshire.

This a full time, permanent position, working in the office.


Main duties:

  • Assist the Management Accountant and Financial Coordinator with producing timely monthly management accounts and required analysis, including Work In Progress, Cost to Completion, Stock & Revenue accruals
  • Provide financial support to Project Managers including the tracking of costs by projects, timely raising of sales invoices, financial analysis and reporting of projects
  • Creating project financial reports, appropriate analysis and discussion with project managers and ensuring project management have financial understanding prior to project review meetings.
  • Managing job numbers, ensuring jobs are raised and closed in a timely manner.
  • Assist with annual financial audit and other annual reporting requirements.
  • Assist Stores & Operations with management of stock system, including but not limited to high value stock transfers, approving cycle counts, addition of new part numbers.
  • Other adhoc tasks as required.

Desired Qualities:

  • Degree or relevant accountancy/finance qualification
  • Effective/Competent MS Office skills particularly in excel & outlook
  • Relevant accountancy or invoicing experience in a similar/other industry is desirable

Salary:
£24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

Education:


  • Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)

Experience:
