MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Transfer Station Operative to work for a leading business within the Waste Management industry.
Working closely with the Site Supervisor you will be responsible for the safe day to day operations of a Waste Transfer Station.
As the Transfer Station Operative, you will be responsible for:
- Coordination of the day
- day transport movements on site
- Ensuring all vehicles are weighed in and details of materials are logged onto the database
- Daily inspections of plant and equipment
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are adhered to and promoted within the team
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:
- Experience working in a waste transfer station or similar is preferred
- The ability to recognise different waste streams
- Previous traffic management/control
- A full UK driving licence is essential for this role
The package on offer for this position includes:
- A basic salary up to £25,000 + benefits
