Salary:
£39,000 - £41,000

Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Procurement Specialist position for a Public Sector organisation based in Manchester. The role will be based from home with 1 day per week required in the office.

You would also qualify for some great benefitsthat include 3-day site shutdown at Christmas on top of your 27-day holiday allowance and CIPS study support.


The Role:


  • Procure contracts for a number of categories that include IT, E+F and Professional Services
  • Advise on different routes to market and promote best practice
  • Keep abreast of all relevant legislation
  • Provide guidance to key stakeholders on processes and procedures
  • Run end to end tender projects both above and below threshold
  • Identify savings opportunities
  • Manage relationships between the organisation and a variety of suppliers
  • Review policies and provide recommendations on any areas for improvement

The Person:


  • Public Sector procurement experience
  • MCIPS or working towards


  • Knowledge of PCR201

  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Great analytical skills
