Overview:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage skills training staff across funded programmes
  • Attend planned Funding agent review meetings held using KPIs performance against contracts
  • Ensure all outputs are delivered to the contract terms and continually hit output targets as set by the Funding Agent
  • Develop recruitment and progression plans to meet programme targets
  • Maintain relationships with Funding agents to ensure contract growth
  • Develop the programmes to continue the ongoing development in these areas
  • Work with the head of business development to ensure collaboration between public funded work, commercial business and private school work.
  • Maintain daily contact with coordinators to ensure documentation is being completed incrementally and to determine whether any issues need addressing
  • Ensure all funding paperwork is filled in a manner that will fulfil all audit requirements
  • Maintain and develop close relationships with Partners, funding agents, Training Providers, colleges, the council and Employers
  • Ensure programmes hit the minimum standards for recruitment, achievement, retention and progression

Person Specification:


  • Experience managing vocational programmes
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and meet financial targets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong relationshipbuilding and stakeholder management skills
  • Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Experience working with Funding agents is desirable
This is an office based role in Coventry, with some travel across the Midlands.
