Bishops Waltham Electrical & Energy Ltd are expanding and we are looking for improvers or electricians mates who want employment alongside there electrical studies.
to join our team in 2024, applicants must must have the following:- Experience of working with domestic and commercial customers.
- Clean UK driving licence.
- Confidence to deal with customers and managing their requirement.
- Experience of supervising other electricians and apprentices.
60% of our work is with domestic clients in which we complete small maintenance jobs for local customers, consumer unit changes, kitchen refurbishments, rewiring, extensions, electric charging points, Lighting upgrades, smart home controls, smoke alarms, electrical installation condition reports.
Our commercial work involves working with local authorities, shops and businesses with warehouses, We currently maintain the electrical communal areas at Whiteley shopping centre.
We can cover all commercial installations general maintenance, new office fit outs, LED lighting upgrades, emergency lighting, consumer unit upgrades, additional or new dado trunking systems, new machine supplies and electrical installation condition reports.
2024 we are installing more solar and battery installations and works towards mcs accreditation.We are an expanding business so welcome applicants who want to take on broader responsibilities as we grow.
Applicants will be asked to provide two references and examples of their work.

Responsibilities:
- Assist electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems
- Prepare and assemble containment and connect wiring through them
- Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and making necessary repairs
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Experience:
- Previous experience working with power tools and hand tools
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
- Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations
Skills:
- Proficiency in using power tools for electrical work
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for cutting, bending, and connecting wires
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
