We are looking to recruit a Warehouse Administrator to join our new National Distribution Centre based in the West Midlands (WS2 8DQ).

The role will be on a rotational two-shift pattern:


  • Early shift: 6am 2pm
Late Shift: 2pm - 10pm


The Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager.

Your main responsibility is to ensure all telephone calls both external and internal are dealt with electively, all administration work is carried out to the agreed high standards.


Duties include:

  • Ensure you work closely with the West Midlands Warehouse Manager.
  • To provide full administration support as required and ensure the timely and correct processing of all documentation.
  • The continued growth of the business through good management practices.
  • Ensure good housekeeping is maintained.
  • Confirming delivery notes, reworks, work orders and stock transfers.
  • First point of call for the TR group for P O.D's for goods despatched from WSP.
  • Filing delivery notes, rework orders and stock transfers.
  • Arrange collection all goods by outside carriers as and when required.
  • Complete automatic allocations throughout the day as determined by the Manager.
  • To meet company standards and adopt the TQM strategy and adopt all company policies and philosophies.
  • To promote good customer relationships, both internally and externally.
  • To ensure excellent communication and teamwork by maintaining a helpful, positive and friendly atmosphere with colleagues.
  • To understand performance targets for section and aim to achieve.
  • Ensuring your knowledge and skills are regularly reviewed and updated.
  • Ensuring that Health & Safety is not compromised.
  • You will actively participate in appraisals, company initiatives, team meetings and meeting selfdevelopment needs. You will assist in training new staff as the need arises.
  • You will undertake any other duties necessary as defined by the Warehouse Manager.


Being a good all-round team player is a must as is the ability to work to deadlines and think on your feet.
