Part time Lab Assistant

22 hrs per week hr lunch)

Based in Staines

This role will involve working in a lab environment helping the technicians.

The responsibilities will include

Receipt of samples from customers
Bottle preparation
Sample preservation
Coordination and distribution of sample bottles within the laboratory and between sites
Liaising with couriers, sampling staff and customers
Basic use of the laboratory information management system (LIMS) to register samples and produce reports
Complying with all relevant Health and Safety procedures at all times
