Description

Preston North End Community and Education Trust (PNECET) at Preston North End FC is seeking to appoint a enthusiastic, skilled and dedicated Community Engagement Officer.


The Community Engagement Officer will take an important role as a member of the Community Engagement team, maximising the Community Engagement strand and playing a vital role in the delivery and success of all Community Engagement programmes.

They will deliver on our community based initiatives and sports sessions across Preston and the surrounding areas.

The Community Engagement Officer will strive to ensure all targets are met, and will be tasked with ensuring successful delivery of all our programmes.


  • Promote, recruit and retain participants on all Community Engagement programmes, ensuring existing provisions continue to be successful and achieve targets.
  • Record and report on all community engagement programmes delivering on in order to monitor and evaluate progress and impact of programme against Key Performance Indicators.
  • Working alongside the Community Engagement Coordinator to ensure all programmes work within their financial budget, tracking expenditure throughout delivery of all Community Engagement provision.
  • Undertake a coaching and mentor role to lead and support individuals participating in national or local competitions, promoting the importance that all individuals' behaviour and conduct represents Preston North End Football Club and Preston North End Community and Education Trust.
  • Participate in Continual Professional Development (CPD) opportunities to maintain and further skills, knowledge, experience and understanding of programmes and procedures which are delivered.
  • Supporting internal communication and reporting to engage and enthuse partners, ensuring case studies and impact are maximised and shared.
  • Ensuring all activities are correctly monitored with the appropriate risk assessments, safeguarding and health and safety procedures put in place whilst acting in accordance with Trust strategic objectives, policies and procedures at all times.
  • Be a flexible member of the PNECET team and when requested assist in the delivery of other projects and activities, inclusive of some evenings and weekends.
  • Support and deliver extracurricular activities to support the wider provision of PNECET.

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract


Salary:
£19,851.00-£22,525.47 per year
